Rocking Lil Biddy Farm specializes in Gold Star genetic Painted Desert Sheep. We have two breeding lines that have multiple GSR rams, including sires and grandsires, with great color and confirmation. We also offer many ewes with exceptional genetics, confirmation and color as well as elf ears. This has allowed us to produce some of the most beautiful sheep that will bring quality genetics to your flock. All sheep are registered with the Painted Desert Sheep Society and lambs are also registered.
These sheep are perfect for shepherds who are looking to purchase top quality genetics to improve their flock as well as those looking for show quality sheep.

Weaning
Breeding Season
Breeding season typically begins in November for scheduled lambing starting in April. We carefully review all breeding stocks' genetics and determine the best possible pairing for confirmation, ease of lambing and temperment. Ewelings sell out every year and many typically have deposits on them within the first week of their birth; therefore, please review lamb pictures often during breeding season to ensure you are able to take home the lamb you want! Deposits are also placed fairly quickly on ramlings so notify me as soon as you see a lamb with which you are wanting to expand your flock.
Lambs are typically weaned at 12 weeks of age and will be registered at that time. They receive free feed coastal hay, limited alfalfa hay and sheep pellets as well as loose mineral and free feed baking soda. They will be bucket trained. Buyers may choose to provide a 50% non refundable deposit for any lamb desired for purchase. Pick up should be as close to two weeks from weaning as possible; I DO NOT provide extended boarding. Buyers are requested to measure horns if they purchase ram lambs and if they qualify for Gold Star Ram status, send those measurements in to the Painted Desert Sheep Society. Pictures will be placed on this website as well as the Rocking Lil Biddy Farm Facebook page as little ones are born .
On Site Visits
On site visits are available for those wanting to purchase lambs who would like to view the sire and dam in person as well as view other available lambs. All visits will need be scheduled with an appointment time. Please contact us if you would like to set up an appointment. All buyers will be provided with information on feeding, minerals, basic care and registration transfer papers upon pick up of lambs. Follow thru with registration transfer papers is highly recommended as registry into the Painted Desert Sheep Society has a great number of benefits including mentorship from other seasoned shepherds.
